Today, Sharif Medical & Dental College and Sharif Medical City Hospital came together to mark Pink Day, reaffirming our shared commitment to raising awareness about breast cancer and standing alongside every woman and family whose life has been touched by this disease.

Dressed in pink and united by a meaningful cause, faculty members, students, and healthcare professionals participated in a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, spreading a message of hope, courage, and the importance of early detection.

The walk was followed by an insightful symposium featuring experts from various specialties, including surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists, who shared their knowledge and perspectives on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of breast cancer. The discussions highlighted the importance of a multidisciplinary approach and compassionate, patient-centred care.

Beyond the pink ribbons and awareness activities, today was a reminder that behind every diagnosis is a person, a family, and a story of strength. It reminded us that a little awareness, a timely screening, and a supportive conversation can make a meaningful difference.
