Department of Dermatology was established in 2010 and headed by Prof. Uzma Ahsan (MCPS, FCPS, MHPE, Certificate American Association of Aesthetic Medicine, Diploma American Association of Aesthetic Medicine). The department provides outpatient and inpatient facilities for a variety of dermatological disorders. It is accredited for postgraduate training in FCPS Dermatology Pakistan. In addition, the department offers latest cosmetic and therapeutic procedures including mesotherapy, microneedling, PRP for hair, and acne scarring, chemical peeling for melasma and facial rejuvenation, along with fulgration, electeocautery,
intralesional injections and cryotherapy.We are facilitated with latest books and journals for a continuous improvement in patient care and clinical care.
MOCK TOACS for FCPS, MCPS & MD Dermatology
Department of Dermatology at Sharif Medical and Dental College organized a MOCK TOACS for FCPS, MCPS & MD Dermatology on March 31st, 2022. The workshop was facilitated by professors and Heads of the Departments from King Edward Medical University, Allama Iqbal Medical College, Amir-ud-Din Medical College, Services Institute of Medical Sciences, Gujranwala Medical College, Shalimar Medical & Dental College & Rashid Latif Medical College. Two rounds of 10 TOACS stations were conducted, followed by a mutual feedback session. Stations were constructed in accordance to guidelines from CPSP & UHS Lahore. Participants and the facilitators expressed extreme satisfaction with the content, organization, and environment of the workshop, with a request to conduct more such events in the future.
