The department is being headed by Prof. Uzma Ahsan. The department is actively involved in conducting teacher training workshops for the faculty and imparting clinical skills to house officers and students. The department works with the aim of producing technically advanced doctors and teachers for the medical community. Journal club meetings and clinicopathalogical conferences are conducted on regular basis.
