The Department is headed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem (MBBS, DMJ) and has a teaching experience of more than 16 years. Under his supervision experienced faculty members are there to train the MBBS students in the subject. The Department has well equipped laboratory and its museum houses numerous models, specimens, mountings, charts, skeletons, and X-rays highlighting various medico-legal aspects essential for medical students learning to keep them abreast with advanced techniques in the subject. The arrangement of post mortem examination in Lahore is centralized by Government of the Punjab at King Edward Medical University and our medical students are sent there in batches for this aspect of medico legal training.
